Starting as a volunteer at a Richmond Fellowship Therapeutic Community in Knowle, Bristol in the 90’s, I went on to work in mental health services for more than twenty years. I worked in crisis centres, hospitals, residential care homes, therapeutic communities, supported housing schemes and day centres. In 1996  I started to train with the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research in London and a few years later became a member of the London Society of the New Lacanian School. I’m still  involved with both of these organisations and adhere to their ethics.
